These seasonal flights from O’Hare International Airport will be available from April 6th through September 8th. D.C. residents who are looking for a break from all of the hubbub in our nation’s capital will be able to jet down to Hilton Head for a relaxing getaway starting in the spring! Seasonal flights to and from Washington Dulles International Airport will be offered twice daily from March 31st through September 8th. The trip from D.C. to Hilton Head will be roughly 1 hour and 40 minutes and roundtrip fare will range from $320 – $1,000.Flights from New York City/Newark
New Yorkers and Newarkers will also benefit from United Airline’s expansion into Hilton Head. From April 6th through September 7th, there will be Saturday flights from Newark Liberty International Airport down to Hilton Head Island. The flight from Newark will last around 2 hours and 30 minutes and roundtrip fare will range from $550 – $900.
Flights from Charlotte
If you live near Charlotte, NC, you don’t have to wait until 2019 to get a direct flight to Hilton Head! American Airlines currently offers three flights a day from Charlotte Douglas International Airport to Hilton Head Island Airport. The trip takes around 1 hour and 10 minutes and the average roundtrip fare ranges from $300 – $400. Since July, the nonstop flights from Charlotte to Hilton Head have featured larger aircraft with 76 seats. Hilton Head Island Airport can now accommodate bigger planes like the Embraer 175 regional jet because the airport underwent three years of infrastructure improvements, including a runway extension.
