Hours: Monday thru Sunday 6 am - 9 pm | Winter Hours Monday thru Sunday 6 am to 6 pm 

Chaplin Community Park is more than just a beach park—it’s a dynamic outdoor space offering something for everyone. Whether you’re looking to enjoy sports, explore nature trails, or relax by the shore, this versatile park provides the perfect setting for outdoor fun.

Park Features & Amenities Sports Facilities | Basketball courts, tennis courts, and a multi-purpose field for soccer and other activities. 

Beach Access | Direct access to Burkes Beach at the end of Burkes Beach Road, with seasonal lifeguards on duty. 

Dog Park | The Town's only dog park. A fenced, off-leash area where dogs can run and play freely. 

Playground | A family-friendly area for children to enjoy.

Scenic Walking & Biking Trails | Pathways wind through the park and connect to the beach, perfect for exploration. 

Event Space | The multi-purpose field is available for sports, festivals, and gatherings (contact Beaufort County Parks & Recreation for reservations). 

Facilities | Restrooms, outdoor showers, and seasonal beach equipment rentals for added convenience.
