What is the Sunset Celebration?

The Sunset Celebration at Shelter Cove Community Park is a magical experience that will leave you awe-inspired. The Sunset Celebration takes place every Friday night from mid-June through mid-August. Located on the north end of Hilton Head Island, Shelter Cove offers a breathtaking backdrop for witnessing the sun sinking into the horizon. The park’s expansive lawn provides ample space to spread out and enjoy the panoramic views.  The celebration is free to attend and features an abundance of family-friendly fun, highlighted by live music. Bring a chair or blanket and enjoy free entertainment from talented musicians. The Sunset Celebration also hosts local merchants, so you can shop for handmade goods, souvenirs, and other items. Of course, there are also delicious food vendors if you don’t feel like packing a picnic. Other family-friendly, laidback family entertainment options are available as well. Not only is the Sunset Celebration a fun activity for the whole family on Hilton Head Island, but it is also pet-friendly!
