About Hilton Head Properties

We have three companies to serve you on Hilton Head Island: Hilton Head Properties Realty, Hilton Head Properties Rental, and Absentee by the Sea. These companies work together to ensure your stay with us is fabulous. They essentially provide our clients with one stop shopping. Clients can buy and sell their properties, have them rented out and looked after by our team. These companies are run by long time Islanders who know the hospitality industry. So no matter what you need, do not hesitate to ask. From furnishings, maintenance, remodeling, rentals, real estate, to local happenings, we are here to serve.

Meet the Team

Patti Landers

Patti joined Hilton Head Properties in May 2020 as a seasoned vacation planner with three decades of experience in the hospitality industry. Patti recently earned her Property Management License. Originally from Colorado, Landers oversaw reservations, guest customer service and group sales for The Charter at Beaver Creek. An avid animal lover, Patti traded snow for sand and enjoys all things outdoors, beach, golf and biking.

Darcey Sundling

Darcey is the Lead Property Manager and Partner at Hilton Head Properties R and R. Darcey has been in the Real Estate industry on Hilton Head Island for over 8 years, and her customer service is awesome!

Terry Sundling

Terry owns and operates Absentee by the Sea. After every check out, Terry and his team inspect the properties to be sure everything is in its place, and everything is ready for the next check-in.

MaryRose Heffner

MaryRose has worked in the short-term vacation rental business on Hilton Head Island since 2010. She is the Lead Vacation Planner at Hilton Head Properties R and R. Originally from Boston, you will love talking with her. Prior to working in short term rentals, MaryRose lived on Daufuskie Island in Haig Point for 26 years raising three sons and working with her husband selling real estate.

Terry Sundling Sr.

You're not seeing double. Terry Sr. helps with day-to-day maintenance and inspections. He is skilled in customer service and getting things done around here. He always has a smile and handshake to go with the jobs at hand. Terry is a long time Islander and even raised his family here.

Jane Hyers

Jane Hyers is a partner and has worked with Robbie for over 16 years. Her astute attention to detail has helped build the company to what it is today. Jane is instrumental in the day-to-day operations making sure that all the t’s are crossed and i’s are doted. She lives by the credo “We JUMP!”

Lillian Robbins

Lillian is the head of Accounting at Hilton Head Properties. You can always hear the smile in her voice when you talk with her. She takes care of all the billing and payments for our clients that rent their properties with Hilton Head Properties R and R. She has a can do attitude that makes things happen.

Robbie Bunting

Robbie is the Broker in Charge at Hilton Head Properties Realty and Rentals. He counts his blessings as he is surrounded by some of the best Real Estate agents, Property Managers and staff on the Island. He has been a long time Islander for over 40 years and first visited the Island at the age of 9 with his family on vacation.
